10 Years of Cheesecake Bistro
Saturday night we went out to eat at Cheesecake Bistro in honor of our 1st date, July 17, 2000. We've been back every year...sometimes alone but in more recent years with the kids.

Cow Appreciation Day
Yesterday, Chick-fil-A had their annual Cow Appreciation Day. Amy planned for our homeschool group to attend. I threw these outfits together at the last minute using some black scrap fabric and safety pins, adhesive-backed black felt, a cow mask, and part of the starter kit from Chick-fil-A. We weren't able to stay long and play with our friends, but we did get free lunch! Daddy didn't dress up, but he did use the coupon for a free chicken salad sandwich from the Chick-fil-A "cow"lendar. You can see more pictures of the day on Amy's blog.

Going Home
4th Of July
How did we spend our 4th of July? In the hospital...of course! However, I could see the American flag flying right outside our room! Since I love a theme, I made sure to pick out the kids' clothes for the weekend before I left for the hospital. Even Cole had on his red, white & blue! If you're wondering what the kids are looking at on the computer, they're talking to Uncle Eric via video chat on Aunt Laura's computer. He wasn't able to spend the weekend with us because he had to be at church on Sunday. That's what happens when you're on staff at a church.
