Last Friday night, we had some of our family & friends over to celebrate Daddy's 40th birthday.
Thanks to Amy for making the Triple Chocolate Toffee Torte to use as Craig's birthday cake.
The kids all gathered around to watch him open his gifts.

Happy 6th Birthday Miriam!
Wow! 6 years old…even though sometimes you think you’re going on 16! You are our strong willed child, but have those moments of sweetness especially when it comes to taking care of babies. So, the question is will you get a new baby for your birthday?
See she already had an attitude with her birthday hat. She had this one on until it was time to sing "Happy Birthday" and take pictures, then she didn't want one on.

Back to WAK Party
Sunday evening we started the Spring Semester for WAK (Worship Arts for Kids) with a “Back to WAK” party. The kids were supposed to dress backwards, but I’m not sure that this was communicated very well. So it was mostly our family and a couple of people who changed when they got there. We had our regular WAK practice with some fun games that involved backward lyrics and backward songs. Then we had a little party at the end of rehearsal. We had cupcakes first and then pizza.

Upward Basketball Games #5–Oh Happy Hat Day!
Saturday was "Oh Happy Hat Day!" Most of the hats that we wore were made by my friend, Candy.
Cameron's Game
During halftime of Cameron's game, Miriam helped with the devotional. The goal was to keep the balloon from hitting the ground while you went from one end of the court to the other end. Her team won. Micah was right there in the middle cheering her on!
Hanging with friends between games
Luke's game
Luke kept shooting airballs and he complained that the goal was too short. It was 1/2 feet too short. Craig went and told the opposing coach (Luke's coach from last year) that it was too short. They fixed the goal height at halftime.
