On Saturday, September 15th, we had Cameron & Cole’s train birthday party. It was originally scheduled for September 1st, but we postponed it because of Hurricane Isaac.
On Friday, September 14th, we attended the jersey retirement for Samuel Wimberly. This is the 1st time that a Parkview Baptist School jersey has been retired. Along the fences, they had posters for the senior football players, cheerleaders, dance team, etc. There was a poster for Samuel right in the middle of all the football players. Before the kick-off, Collin (Samuel's dad) prayed and Juliana (Samuel's sister) sang the National Anthem. After the game started, we joined the Wimberly's for dinner in the field house where we also got to see the memorial they have for Samuel in the football locker room. The party included inflatables, face painting, stick horse races, musical chairs, musical instruments and Bible drill games.
I’m a month behind on my blog posts…so I’m just playing catch up.
On Saturday, September 1st it was Cameron’s 8th birthday. We celebrated by going to Mason’s Grill for brunch. He chose a waffle for his breakfast and even brought the #8 candle with him so we could sing. PawPaw & ZeeZee gave him some money so he buy something at Walmart and Aunt Sara took him to Walmart and she bought him some Ninjago shirts. With the money, he bought a Ninjago lego set.
