Last Saturday, the boys’ baseball games were cancelled due to rain. We decided to go down to New Orleans for NOLA Navy Week. We took our time getting down there because we were waiting to see what the weather was going to do. We stopped and ate lunch at Don’s Seafood in Gonzales. By the time we got to New Orleans it was too late to board any of the Navy ships. But we still got to see the tall ships.
This sculpture was a holocaust memorial.
Since it wasn't that far, we walked over to Cafe DuMonde to get beignets and coffee.
