On Friday night, March 22nd we had Luke’s sleep-over party.
Just a couple of the decorations that I put up for it.
The girls slept over at Mrs. Daina's house and Cole went with ZeeZee to visit Elliott.
We started the night with pizza and cokes (sodas).
Then they played a game of baseball.
Then they had a ping-pong tournament.
Daddy was killing some bug with his ping-pong paddle because he was "bugging" him during the game.
Of course, there was also trampoline jumping, wii playing and computer games.
They took a break from the games to sing "Happy Birthday" and have dessert. Luke wanted to sing "Happy Birthday" to Tyler too because he was turning 10 on Saturday. Notice I used roman numeral candles. Luke really likes roman numerals (such a nerd) and since 10 is X that also fit into the bowling theme since a strike is marked as an X.
Along with the bowling pin sugar cookies and bowling ball cupcakes, they were able to make banana "splits."
After dessert, it was time for the Mario Cart wii tournament. Ian, Aidan and Cameron were in the finals.
Finally, they ended the night with popcorn and a movie, "Wreck-it Ralph."
On Saturday morning, they had donuts and chocolate milk and then we headed to the bowling alley for 2 hours of bowling and a little arcade playing.

Bluebonnet Swamp Field trip
On Friday, March 22nd, we had a field trip to the Bluebonnet Swamp.
This picture was taken by a member of our group who is a photographer and had a wide angle lens.
First, we started off the trip with an introduction to some of the animals that they have on display and got to pet several of them.
Then we were able to walk around and look at the different animals and display cases that they had.
Next we walked on the walking paths through the swamp, but we didn't get to see much because the kids were just interested in getting through it at fast as they could!
Finally, we went back to the building and got to witness feeding time!
