We knew he had been playing in the potty because his Tech bulldog (or "boo-dog" as Miriam says it) was all wet.
He's becoming a little troublemaker...just as I was typing this up he spilled Miriam's drink. I guess that's what happens when he has Miriam & Emma to follow behind :)

Harappan Bangles
This week we've been studying about the Harappans that lived in the Indus Valley around 2500 BC. Some of the Harappans were craftsmen making jewelry. Both men and women wore jewerly in this civilization.
Painting the bracelets
So we decided to make our own bangles. I used a recipe for dough that was in Cameron's Hands on Math book.
Rolling the dough (or making snakes as the kids would say)

Tree frog
Today he was on back of one of the folding chairs.
He even stayed on there while I moved it.
I think he was sleeping...check out his eyes.
Amy took him off during the thanksgiving celebration
and at one point he landed on the oreo turkey table.
Tracy took a picture of him as well.
Here here is last Wednesday night on the bottom of one of our patio chairs.
Homeschool Thanksgiving celebration
Today we had a homeschool Thanksgiving celebration at our house with 15 different families totaling over 60 people.
Right now, these are the only pics that I have from it. These were taken to put in the picture frame that the kids made.
I was too busy running a station to take any with my camera. Also, my new friend, Tracy, was the photographer for the day. Check out her blog, Lighthouse Academy Homeschool, and Amy's blog, House of Shelbys, to see some more pics from the day.

Geaux Tigers
While Daddy, Luke & Cameron were at the game, Miriam & Levi took a bath and put on their LSU jammies.
So Miriam wanted to say Geaux Tigers:
So Miriam wanted to say Geaux Tigers:
However, she thinks you have to say Beat Bama afterwards...
I tried to tell her that LSU lost, but she still keeps singing...
"Geaux Tigers, Beat Bana"

It's such a catchy tune...you can't help but sing it...don't cha think?
Then Sings My Soul Saturday - How Great is Our God
I saw this link on Ship Full O'Pirates and I thought it was pretty cool. Chris Tomlin - How Great is Our God
I heard this song today when we were listening to Pandora through my iPhone at Mason & Daniel's birthday party. Craig was able to hook up my iPhone through our sound system and play it over all our speakers...pretty cool!
Plus I just love this song!
Sea Creatures
Genesis 1:20-23
And God said, "Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens." So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth." And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.
Today we saw some amazing creatures on our trip to the Aquarium
The kids kept asking how do you tell them apart...
we told them Emma was the one doing the wrong thing ;)
They have a lion statue in the tank just in case you don't know what it is
This seahorse is so well camouflaged that you might not be able to see it.
Craig said it was an army ranger.

Weedy Sea dragon
For most kids, these are Nemo and Dory fish
AKA blue tang and clownfish

Aquarium
Today we went to the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans. We try to go anytime Sherry (Children's Minister at 1st Baptist) organizes a playday to go there. You can't beat the price. It cost our whole family $21.25 to go. A normal adult ticket costs $17.50. Plus the fall is a great time to go, because it's usually not busy. You'll see from the pictures that sometimes we were all alone in areas.
