Swimming with cousins At Paw’s House
The kids love to visit Paw’s house in the summer because they get to go swimming. Before the kids went out to swim, I attempted to take another group shot of the cousins. The silly pose was the best one because everyone was at least facing the camera.
What's so great about Paw's pool is that it has a diving board and a slide!
Arkansas Visit
Last weekend we went to Monroe to visit Craig’s family so everyone could meet Cole. On Friday, we drove up to Dermott, Arkansas to visit Craig’s Aunt Ann & Uncle Leo. The kids really enjoyed finding sticks and throwing them in their pond. Miriam enjoyed playing with her cousin Grace and Uncle Lee’s new puppy Teddy. Levi always enjoys spending time with Uncle Chris who bribes him with candy!

South Sherwood Animal Hospital
Last Tuesday, we went to the South Sherwood Animal Hospital for a fieldtrip. One of the vets there is a member of our church. We were able to tour the facility and the kids had the opportunity to pet many animals.

Hot Air Balloon Festival
Friday night we went out to the hot air balloon festival, but we didn’t get out there for the balloon glow as I had hoped. However, we did get to see the Screaming Eagles parachute team and the fireworks…all for free!
Here's the pictures I took of the Screaming Eagles...sooc. First they just looked like a streak in the sky, then eventually you could see the parachute. It was a challenge getting a picture, but I like how you can tell that it says Airbourne on the parachute. The last one to land was carrying an American flag.
Some of the shots that I took of the fireworks
Fine Arts Camp
Last week Luke & Cameron attended a Fine Arts Camp at church every day from 9-3. They rotated each 45 minutes to a different class. Some of which were singing, drama, art, art appreciation, rhythm, music in the Bible, Latino art culture, and boomwhackers. On Friday afternoon, they performed some of the stuff they learned and they had their art hanging in gallery style format for the parents to see.

I designed this last year for Miriam & Levi where there is a 4 day week (1st day focuses on a letter, 2nd day focuses on a number, 3rd day focuses on a color, and 4th day focuses on a shape). I used pages from ABC Home Preschool and ideas from Homeschool Creations, No Time for Flashcards, Totally Tots, and Kids Learning Station. They also do flashcards or play with toys/manipulatives to reinforce the idea for the day's lesson.
