Grace

This weekend we were able to meet our niece/cousin, Grace, for the first time.  Uncle Lee & Aunt Lauren came to town to go to the Neville game.

We also did Christmas with them while they were here.

Parkview Championship Game

Friday night, we went to see Parkview play in the 3A state championship in the Super Dome.  This is a time when you get to experience the Super Dome, but at a cheaper rate and we had great seats…the first row of the 2nd level.  It was also another opportunity for me to get out and take pictures.  Unfortunately, Parkview lost, but we still had fun.  The boys went back on Saturday to see Craig’s alma mater, Neville, play for the state title in 4A and they also watched part of the West Monroe 5A title game (where Amy went to school).  Both of these teams won!

Cortana Play Day

Friday we went to a playday at Cortana to get our free Santa picture, but this year they didn’t offer the free picture.  So instead we just played and ate Chick-fil-a.

Luke is counting for hide & seek in the first picture and in the other ones, he’s too scared to go down head first on the slide.  He was going to hold Levi’s foot and go down he said.

Cameron kept wanting me to take his picture, but then I usually got the fake smile.

Miriam had fun playing the drums…all festive in her red & green!

Levi really had fun on the slides even going down head first.  At one point, he said he was tired and laid down with his thumb!

Micah just had fun climbing on all the stuff...can't you tell?

And me...well it got me out of the house and made me take pictures :)

Homeschool Christmas Tea

Last Thursday, Amy had us over to her house for a homeschool Christmas tea.  With moms and teenage daughters we had 18 people.

It was a great time of fellowship...

food…

and fun!

You can see more pictures over at Amy’s blog.

World Team Tennis Smash Hits

Last night, we took Luke & Cameron to the WTT Smash Hits event at the PMAC. This was an opportunity to see some of the world’s best tennis players:  Chanda Rubin (a native of Louisiana), Lindsay Davenport, Serena Williams, Anna Kournikova, Andy Roddick, and Tommy Haas.

The first game was a celebrity match with Anna Kournikova and Andy Roddick against Serena Williams and Sir Elton John.

They hit balls into the crowd signed by Serena, but we didn’t catch one :(

Cameron wasn’t really into it…he kept asking when it was going to be over…Luke as usual was!
