After the girls made their princess hats, the boys had a turn to make their own hats, a bycocket (aka Robin Hood hat). I took the 4 youngest boys first, because the older boys were waiting on Tate to get back from his eye doctor’s appointment. They wanted to decorate theirs some.

Notice that they are wearing things on their belt. We learned that people didn’t have pockets on their garments so they wore a little pocket on their belt. People also wore an almoner, a sock-like bag to carry alms in.
The only picture that I got of the older boys was Ian (although you can barely see him with his camouflage…he almost blends into the wall), because we were starting to get lunch ready and they didn’t stay around long to have their picture taken.
