Yesterday we talked about how the Romans used wax tabletsto write on instead of paper. The suggested activity was to make crayon engravings.
First we colored a sheet of paper

Then we painted over them...
(We were supposed to use black paint, but I didn't have any so I just made dark blue.)

After the paint dried, we used a unfolded paper clip to engrave in the paint
